What I Do

Notary Work That Travels

Six things, done properly, anywhere in Volusia County.

The One Most Notaries Refuse

I Go to the Jail

Most notaries are scared of it. I’m not. Somebody sitting in the Volusia County Branch Jail still needs a power of attorney signed, a title transferred, a parental consent form witnessed, and their family on the outside can’t do any of it without a notary who will walk in there confidently.

$125 flat. That rate is for my time, not distance. Sometimes I’m out in 20 minutes. Sometimes it takes a few hours, and I turn down other work while I wait.

Now Serving West Volusia

DeLand, Orange City, Deltona, DeBary & DeLeon Springs

I’ve served West Volusia for years and I’m out that way regularly. If you’re on the west side, you won’t be waiting for me to decide if the drive is worth it.

And All of East Volusia

Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach & Edgewater

The coast and the mainland, where most of my work has come from for nine years. Both sides of the county, one phone number.

Why People Keep Calling Back

Here’s What It’s Really All About

It’s about making sure you’re alright and that the thing in front of you gets taken care of the right way. People call me on the worst day of their week. A parent in the hospital. A closing about to fall through. A car that has to be signed over before someone loses a job.

I’ve been doing this for nine years, and I have more than 200 five-star reviews to show for it. Not one of them happened because I rushed somebody.

For Title Companies & Lenders

When Your Notary Falls Through

It happens constantly. The signing is booked, the borrower is waiting, and the assigned notary cancels or simply doesn’t turn up. That call is a large part of my week, and I’m set up for it.

I’m NNA certified, background screened, and listed in the National Notary Association signing agent directory. Also, I carry $100,000 in errors and omissions cover. I know what a clean package looks like and I know what sends one back.

More Than 200 Reviews, 5.0 Average

Nine years of honest work, with the reviews to back it.

200+reviews on Google

Every one of them was left by somebody in Volusia County, on Google, where I can’t edit them and can’t delete the ones I would rather not have. That’s the whole value of a review, so that’s where mine live.

Questions

The Things People Ask First

Do you come to me, or do I come to you?

I come to you. That’s the whole business. Your house, your office, a hospital room, a rehab or assisted living facility, a car park, a restaurant, the jail. If you can get there, so can I.

How fast can you get out?

Often the same day, and frequently within a couple of hours. Call and tell me where you are and what you have in front of you, and I’ll tell you straight away whether I can make it.

Will you go to the Volusia County Branch Jail?

Yes. It’s $125 flat. Most notaries in this county won’t go, and as far as I know there’s one other who does. It isn’t the distance that sets that rate, it’s the time: I might be in and out in twenty minutes or I might be there two and a half hours, and I can’t take other work while I wait.

What does it actually cost?

Florida caps the notarial act itself at $10 under section 117.05 of the statutes. What varies is the travel, and that depends on where you are. The travel table is on the pricing page. Those figures are averages. Call and I’ll give you a real number for your job.

Are you insured?

Yes. I carry $100,000 in errors and omissions insurance, I’m NNA certified and background screened, and I’m a commissioned notary public for the State of Florida.

Can you prepare legal documents for me?

No. I notarize documents, I don’t draft them. If you need a document written, that’s work for an attorney. Bring me what you’ve and I’ll handle the notarization.

Need Something Notarized Today?

Call and tell me where you are. If I can get there, I’ll tell you over the phone.
